Hitching the wagon

Hello all. Here we are again with my newest attempt at blogging when I had a thought. The name Waggoneer was one I came up with based on an idea - Yes, it had a purpose beside self gratification, I think? That is beyond the point of the blog however.

It is a combination of two separate jobs, the first being an engineer who plans, oversees, and guides whatever projects they are working on. No problem is beyond their grasp, and if they alone cannot figure it out, then they work with others to figure it out. This role is one that requires mental focus and an adherence to the laws of nature, design, and the realities of the materials they are working with. This was paired with the Wagoner, sometimes called waggoner, carters, or teamsters. While they were associated with only tending to the wagons and animals, some tended to other tasks, including the defense of their good, providing quick repairs when needed, and sometimes, assisting with food, medical care, or whatever was required, need suffice. They were jack-of-all-trades.

This is why I chose the name, to bridge the gap between the scientific troubleshooting side of design and 3d modeling, and create works that actually reach people. Such a task requires hard work though, but I am sure that there were others before me with far more daunting cargo. Now, onto the next topic.

The 2025 New Mexico State fair is upon us, and i have some news related to it. For the third year in a row I have entered the Diorama contest and this year I planned something special. Seeing as I have set up my store I have decided to set up a little contest for a chance to win a free item from my store. To enter all you need to do is take take a photo of the New Mexico State fair from the 4th to the 14th and tag me on X/Twitter with it with a comment about what you love about the fair. Include what you would like to win among your post, and I will select (1) winner per item. And remember, be respectful and have fun!
